1. Overview
We use a small set of cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, keep it secure, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use it. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to sell personal information.
2. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixel tags, and software development kits. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.
3. Types we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function. These cannot be turned off in our systems. They include cookies for authentication, security, load balancing, and basic preferences.
- Performance and analytics. Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They collect aggregated, mostly anonymized information.
- Functional. Remember choices you make, such as language or display preferences.
- Marketing. We do not currently set marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
4. Cookies we set
| Name or technology | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (login) | Keeps you signed in while using the platform | Strictly necessary | Session or up to 30 days |
| CSRF token | Prevents cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary | Session |
| Preferences (local storage) | Remembers display and UI choices | Functional | Up to 12 months |
| Vercel Analytics | Aggregate page-view and performance analytics | Performance | Up to 24 months |
The exact set of cookies on any page may vary based on how you use the site and what features are enabled.
5. Third-party cookies and pixels
Some pages may load resources from third parties that set their own cookies, including:
- Vercel (hosting and analytics). Operational and performance analytics.
- Google Fonts. Font delivery. May log basic request data.
- Payment processor. When you reach billing pages, the payment processor may set cookies to support secure checkout and fraud prevention.
Those parties operate independently under their own privacy and cookie policies. See our Subprocessor List for links.
6. How to control cookies
You can manage cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block, delete, or be notified when cookies are set. Look in the privacy or security section of your browser settings.
- Device settings. Mobile devices have similar controls under privacy and tracking settings.
- Opt-out tools. If you are in a region that requires consent, we will show a banner where you can accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site, including login.
7. Global Privacy Control
Nerve Core honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information and from targeted advertising, where applicable under your local law.
8. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top.
